Common Questions
What if my yard is currently overwhelmed with doggy doo-doo?
No worries at all! We intentionally dedicate a full 30 minutes to your initial visit to safely clear away accumulated waste and reset your yard to a healthy baseline. If more time is needed, we will allot up to 30 minutes on your second visit as well!
Why Don't You Offer Deodorizing Add-ons or Chemical Lawn Sanitizing?
We don’t do gimmicks or unnecessary upsells. We find that chemical deodorizers and lawn sanitizers simply don’t provide the lasting results they promise. Thorough, consistent removal is what truly keeps your yard fresh naturally—no harsh chemicals required.
How do you ensure the safety and security of my pets?
Your pets’ safety is our priority. That’s why Alabama Poop Scoop disinfects all gear and footwear with kennel-grade solution between every visit, sends photo proof of your secured gate when we finish, and employs only fully background-checked technicians.
Do you provide estimated arrival windows for service?
You will receive a text notification the morning of your scheduled service.
Can my dogs be in the yard while you scoop?
Yes, friendly dogs are always welcome to hang out while we scoop! To keep our technicians safe, we require any dogs with aggressive or territorial tendencies to be kept indoors during service. If a dog displays aggressive behavior toward our staff, we will require them to be kept inside during visits, and we reserve the right to cancel service if safety remains a concern.
What do you do with the poop?
Dog waste is an environmental hazard, so getting rid of it the right way matters. We remove all waste from your property and partner with Waste Management to ensure it’s handled safely and responsibly.
What areas do you serve?
We currently provide professional pet waste removal throughout Huntsville, Madison, Meridianville, and Harvest.
Do I need to be home for your service?
Nope! As long as we have clear gate access, we'll take care of everything for you.
What happens if a storm rolls in on my scheduled day?
We work through most everyday weather conditions, but severe weather (such as lightning, high winds, or heavy storms) may cause delays. If bad weather impacts your service day, we’ll notify you immediately and reschedule your visit.
